Brandy Julep

  • 2 ½ oz Brandy
  • 5 Mint Leaves
  • 1 tsp Powdered Sugar
  • Shaved Ice

Into a glass put sugar, mint leaves, and brandy. Fill the glass with finely shaved ice and stir until mint rises to top. Stir gently so as not to bruise leaves. Also, do not hold the glass while stirring or the ice will begin to melt. Top with a slice of pineapple, or orange, and a cherry. Serve with straws.

Myrtle Bank Punch
  • ½ pt. Lime juice
  • ½ cup Maraschino liqueur
  • ¼ cup Orgeat syrup
  • 1 oz. Grenadine
  • 1 750-ml. bottle of Demerara Rum

Mix ingredients without rum with ice in a blender and pour into a chilled punch bowl. Add a cake of ice and rum. Serves about 10.
