English Christmas Punch

  • 2 750-ml. bottles of Red Wine (dry)
  • 3 cups Tea
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 lb. Sugar
  • 1 750-ml. bottle of Dark Rum

Heat 1st four ingredients on low heat in a saucepan and transfer to a punch bowl. Then put the sugar in a ladle and staturate with rum to ignite it. Pour ladle contents ablaze into punch. Add the rest of the rum and sugar to the punch. Serves about 25.

Alabama Fizzer
  • 2 oz Gin
  • Juice of ½ Lemon
  • 1 tsp Powdered Sugar
  • Club Soda
  • Ice

Shake well with cracked ice and strain into a glass half filled with ice cubes. Fill glass with club soda. Top with a sprig of mint and a twist of lemon peel.
